Quality Time with Ben Franklin!
     The famous American patriot Ben Franklin (1706-1790) accomplished many great things in science, government, and invention during his lifetime in 18th century Philadelphia. One of his most well known accomplishments was a book he wrote and published titled Poor Richards Almanac. Franklin included many words of wisdom or proverbs within the book such as:

- Better slip with the foot than with the tongue.
- Haste makes waste.
- He that lives upon hope will die fasting.
- No gains without pains.
- Three may keep a secret, only if two of them are dead.

Think about what each of the proverbs mean. Choose one that has importance to your own life. Write what it means and how you can relate to it.
