What is the Parliament?
The "Parliament" is a group of legislators who make laws for the people of England.  For a time, the "Parliament" also made laws within the British Empire including the original 13 colonies.  The "Parliament" is made up of two house or parts which include the "House of Commons" and the "House of Lords".
