  What is Bullying?

Bullying includes a wide variety of behaviors, but all involve a person or a group repeatedly trying to harm someone who is weaker or more vulnerable. It can involve direct attacks (such as hitting, threatening or intimidating, maliciously teasing and taunting, name-calling, making sexual remarks, and stealing or damaging belongings) or more subtle, indirect attacks (such as spreading rumors or encouraging others to reject or exclude someone).  Please visit the following links for more information about bullying.

What if I am being Bullied on the Internet?

Unfortunately, students engage in bullying or are the victims of bullying on a daily basis. Many students are now bullying through the Internet (MySpace, instant messaging, etc.) and text messages, making it more difficult for the school to have much control in intervening. We encourage parents to monitor their child’s computer use as much as possible.
